Adult ADHD Medication

If methylphenidate fails to work it is typically prescribed to teenagers, adults and children older than five years old. Lisdexamfetamine tablets are typically consumed in three or more doses per day. Many randomized controlled trials as well as observational studies have been conducted to examine the benefits and dangers associated with drug treatment of adult adhd. Patients who have a history of developmental disorders or other serious mental health problems should be evaluated more thoroughly and referred to special tests and evaluations if required. This could include a more detailed account of the person's family, since genetic factors are known to play a role in ADHD.
